Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! More Smiles has a variety of payment options to help you receive the dental treatment you need in a timely manner and with the least amount of financial stress. Options available at More Smiles include Zip Pay, Afterpay, and specialised treatment plans. In addition, More Smiles offer free children’s dentistry through the government funded “Child Dental Benefits Scheme” and are happy to treat patients covered by Veterans Affairs. Just ask our friendly front office team for more information.

Evening appointments are available by appointment only. Unfortunately, at this time we are not open weekends, although our voice message service will be checked and answered at 8am Monday morning for any emergencies.

We are not contracted to any health funds. The health fund “preferred practitioners” are not actually preferred because of their dental ability but because they meet fee criteria set by the health funds and have agreed to be contractually bound to the health fund. We are dedicated to providing superior service and high-quality treatment to our patients and are not willing to compromise on the quality of our service or materials.

Unfortunately, we do not offer pensioner discount, although we do offer a variety of payment options as specified above. Please talk to us to see what we can work out for you.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, we ask that you tell us at least 48 hours before your scheduled time. This gives us the opportunity to give that appointment to one of the patients on our priority waiting list, and find a more suitable appointment for you.

Yes, every day!! If you have a problem, then we are here to help! We keep convenient appointments every day especially for people who have a dental emergency. So, whether it’s a toothache or a broken tooth or any other concern you have about your mouth, just give us a call for same day appointments. If you require any emergency treatment then please do not hesitate to call us.

Yes, More Smiles has ample off-street, gated parking conveniently located at the front of the building.

The More Smiles dentists are very experienced at helping nervous patients. More Smiles wants to make every visit as stress-free and enjoyable as possible and that is why we provide a variety of options to help. These may include:

  • Happy Gas
  • In Practice Twilight Sedation
  • General Anaesthetic
  • Distraction techniques

Our dentists are understanding and will be happy to talk to you about this in a non-judgemental way to decide what is right for you. It is often best to have this conversation in a separate appointment before you need any treatment. Just let our friendly front office team know so that we can better help you. Just remember you are not alone, and you are in control.

More Smiles offers AfterPay which allows you to spread out your treatment cost with 4 easy fortnightly payments. Your easy steps:

DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (DVA)

More Smiles proudly treats “Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)” card holders at our clinic.

DVA covers a broad range of dental treatments. This includes most dental treatments that a veteran is likely to need in a lifetime including: filling, root canal treatments, dentures (metal and acrylic), crowns (gold, porcelain fused to metal and all ceramic crowns such as zirconia and Emax), gum disease treatments, preventative and diagnostic services (such as exams, x-rays and fluoride treatments), dental extractions, bite splints for teeth grinding, and even snoring appliances (to help with mild to moderate sleep apnoea).

CHILD DENTAL BENEFITS SCHEME (CDBS)

At More Smiles we offer Bulk-Billing to eligible families for their child’s dental treatment through the government funded “Child Dental Benefits Scheme”. Not sure if you are eligible? Call one of our friendly front office coordinators with your Medicare details and they will determine your eligibility. The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is designed to provide dental care to approximately 3.4million Australian children aged from 2 to 17 years old.

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule covers up to $1,000 over a 2 calendar year period for basic dental services such as dental exams, dental x-rays, dental fillings, fissure sealants, extractions, root canals and partial dentures. The CDBS $1,000 is replenished every two years.

SPECIALISED TREATMENT PLANS

Dentistry can be complicated and confusing. At More Smiles we pride ourselves on creating treatment plans that are stress-free and easy for our patients. Not sure if you need a little or a lot?
